San Francisco jewelry heist kicks off weekend robberies 

A brazen jewelry store heist was one of many robberies over the weekend.

3100 block of Mission Street
1:15 p.m. Friday

Three men robbed a jewelry store, cops said. The bandits entered the store wielding handguns. One of the crooks held the two employees in the back of the store at gunpoint while the other two crooks ransacked the place. The three fled with a haul of jewelry. No arrests have been made.

Holloway and Cardenas avenues
11:45 a.m. Saturday

An 18-year-old woman was robbed by two knife-wielding goons, police said. The creeps approached all nice at first, asking the woman for directions. Then one pulled out a knife. The victim dropped her bag and the knife-wielding creep told her to leave. She complied and the crooks fled with her bag.

Jackson and Kearny streets
9:45 p.m. Sunday

Three men and two women in their 20s attacked and robbed a 23-year-old woman, cops said. The rowdy mob grabbed the victim by her hoodie and threw her to the ground. One of the hoodlums grabbed her cellphone and they all fled on foot. No arrests have been made.

2100 block of Mission Street
10 p.m. Sunday

A 33-year-old man, possibly a tourist, was robbed of his cash by two men in their 50s, police said. The two ruffians pushed the victim to the ground. One held him down while the other searched his pockets. The crooks fled with the victim’s cash, which included euros.
