San Francisco homicides rise to 20 after man dies in Potrero Hill shooting

What: San Francisco police are investigating the shooting of a man in the Potrero Hill neighborhood as a homicide after he succumbed to his injuries.

Why: The 23-year-old victim was in the back seat of a car that was dropping someone off on Watchman Way early Sunday morning when he was shot. The man died Tuesday morning at a hospital. It was the 20th homicide of the year in San Francisco.
