San Francisco Giants honored at White House by President Obama

The 2010 World Series Champion San Francisco Giants received a warm reception at the White House on Monday. President Barack Obama took a break from contentious debt ceiling negotations with members of Congress to honor and congratulate the Giants on their historic victory.

The Giants defeated the Texas Rangers last November for their first World Series victory since the team moved to the San Francisco from New York in 1958.

The Giants will now move onto Philadelphia where they will play a 3-game series against the Phillies.
Here's what people are saying and posting online about their visit.
