Robbers wanted more than just directions

The creepy couple weren’t really looking for directions.

A 54-year-old woman was robbed at knifepoint early Tuesday by a Hispanic man and woman, described by police as in their late 40s or early 50s, around midnight Tuesday in the 2500 block of Bryant Street, police said.

The man crept up behind the woman and asked for directions and then put a knife to her back and demanded her belongings, police said.

The victim said she had nothing, so the male suspect ordered the victim to take them to her house, where she gave the couple some cash, police said. The suspects fled on foot and no arrests have been made.
