Residents learn about smoking ban at workshop

San Francisco residents learned the basics about The City’s newly enacted anti-smoking law, which expands the smoking ban to outdoor areas, services lines, entrances and patio dining areas – at a workshop held today. The Board of Supervisors in March passed legislation expanding The City’s smoking ban.

The California Music and Culture Association today hosted its first educational workshop on San Francisco’s new extended ban on smoking this afternoon in partnership with the Department of Public Health, the Office of Small Business, the Entertainment Commission, and the San Francisco Police Department.

“This workshop marks a vital step in CMAC’s primary goals of increasing healthy communication and collaboration between the music and cultural community and city agencies,” said Sean Manchester, CMAC’s Board President.
