A sparkling party for ‘Cartier’
“Cartier and America” Gala Opening: Some 300 guests gathered Dec. 16 to celebrate the exhibit at the Legion of Honor museum. The program included viewing the show, followed by dinner, dancing and music in the museum’s Court of Honor. VIPs included Fine Arts Museums board President Dede Wilsey, John Buchanan, director of the Fine Arts Museums, Ted Brady of Emirates and Pierre Rainero, global director of style for Cartier.

2009 San Francisco Social: The annual gathering — held this year on Dec. 18 in the Pavilion Room at the Fairmont Hotel — is a benefit for the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco, and the de Young and the Legion of Honor museums. Among those in attendance were founder Anderson Pugash and co-chairs Kelly Landers and Peter Oberndorf.
