Pot dispensary could cater to stoners in suits

A pot dispensary could open at the southern edge of downtown San Francisco.

City planning staff last week urged the Planning Commission to approve the proposed opening of the Igzactly Health Center at 527 Howard Street, between First and Second streets.

If approved, the health center would become the closest medical marijuana dispensary to San Francisco’s financial district.

But commissioners delayed the vote on the proposal because the item had previously been proposed to be delayed until July 22.

Commissioners during their weekly meeting on Thursday said they weren’t comfortable ruling on the proposal because, thinking the vote would be delayed, they failed to review permit documents.
