Motorists will be unable to use portions of Park Presidio Boulevard on Saturday night and Sunday morning due to road closures related to the Doyle Drive rebuild.
Park Presidio Boulevard, which acts as State Highway 1 in San Francisco, will be closed in both directions between Lake Street and Highway 101. The road closure will begin at 8 p.m. on Saturday night and last until 11 a.m. on Sunday.
The closure is necessary to move traffic to the newly replaced Ruckman Bridge on Park Presidio Boulevard, according to Molly Graham, the project’s spokeswoman. This construction project is part of a $1.1 billion overhaul to transform Doyle Drive, the aging southern approach to the Golden Gate Bridge, into the Presidio Parkway.
More information about the upcoming road closures is available on the Presidio Parkway’s website.
