Police are on the hunt for three men suspected of striking two people with their car before crashing into an apartment building in the Marina on Tuesday.

Officers were reportedly observing the men, who were suspected in a series of auto burglaries, driving a black Toyota Avalon in the area of Broadway and Hyde Street about 9:40 p.m. when the suspects fled the area.

Police then responded to the scene of a collision at Chestnut and Franklin streets where the Toyota had reportedly struck a pedestrian and another vehicle before crashing into an apartment building, police said.

The pedestrian and a second victim were taken to the hospital for their injuries, which were not life threatening.

The suspects, three men in their 20s, fled the scene on foot and remain at large.
