Police searching for missing elderly woman with Alzheimer's disease

San Francisco police are searching today for a missing elderly woman with Alzheimer's disease.

Kikuyo Sentachi, 88, was last seen Wednesday at 3 p.m. and was discovered missing today at noon, according to police Sgt. Danielle Newman.

"Her family is very concerned," Newman said.

Sentachi is described as an Asian female with brown eyes and black and gray hair, 5 feet 2 inches tall and 160 pounds, police said.

She has a 1 to 2 inch scar across her right eyebrow and might be wearing her reading glasses, police said. She might also have either a black walking cane with a brown wooden handle or a purple cane with a black foam handle.

If she is located please call San Francisco police at (415) 553-1071 and have her medically evaluated. Her son Alan Sentachi can also be contacted at (415) 309-2484.
