San Francisco police have obtained video they believe will help solve the murder of grocery clerk Ernesto Acosta, according to KTVU news.
Acosta, 23, was gunned down near the intersection of Hayes and Webster streets over two months ago. Acosta worked at the Whole Foods in the Upper Haight neighborhood where employees have held a memorial and planted a tree in the parking lot in his memory.
Police have obtained two videos they believe will help solve the investigation. One is from a taxi cab camera that show what police believe to be Acosta walking across a crosswalk after he was shot before he collapses on the corner. The other video shows a car that police believe was involved in the shooting, a white Lexus ES 350 possibly from 2010 or 2012.
Police also believe anyone who may have been at Yoshi’s SF that night may have witnessed something relevant to the crime.
Anyone with information on this vehicle should contact police.
