  • Police have located a white Dodge Durango that they believe was involved in a fatal hit-and-run last Thursday.

Police have located the vehicle that was involved in a fatal hit-and-run in San Francisco's Visitacion Valley last week, Officer Albie Esparza said Tuesday.

Police are currently talking to the registered owner of the vehicle but as to the identity of a suspect, the investigation is ongoing, Esparza said. The vehicle had not been reported stolen.

The vehicle was located in the Sunnydale neighborhood, Esparza said, not far from where the hit-and-run took place in Visitacion Valley.

In that incident, 82-year-old San Francisco resident Oi Yeung was killed as she crossed the street last Thursday about 11:15 a.m. at Bayshore Boulevard and Visitacion Avenue.

She was reportedly hit by the white Dodge Durango as it turned left on Bayshore Boulevard. Yeung was crossing with a green light, police said at the time. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

After the vehicle was discovered it was towed and is being processed as evidence by crime scene investigators, Esparza said.
