San Bruno

Chihuahua brouhaha: A person in a yellow 1986 Ford Ranger ran over a Chihuahua, and the dog’s owner came out of a house and hit the driver in the face before 10:54 a.m. April 12.

Burlingame

Bullet proof: A woman called at 3:59 p.m. April 13 to say she thought a bullet hit her vehicle while driving on Interstate Highway 280, but it turned out to be a rock.

Foster City

Purse snatchers: A countywide alert for two purse snatchers was reported at 12:59 p.m. April 15 from North Humboldt Street and East Santa Inez Avenue and North Ellsworth Avenue. The suspects from the North Humboldt area were two male teens; one wore a white shirt and other wore an orange hoodie and black pants. The suspects from North Ellsworth were two men with a female driver in a dark gray Nissan Maxima.

San Mateo

Bad deal: A party reported at 12:28 p.m. April 11 that a subject tried to purchase equipment valued at more than $2,000 with a stolen driver’s license and stolen CitiBank card at 1800 S. Grant St.

San Carlos

Gas theft: A call at 8:48 a.m. April 13 in the 800 block of Cherry Street reported a theft of gas. Officers contacted and arrested a Belmont resident who was released at the scene.

Redwood City

Possible gang fight: A disturbance occurred at 9:19 p.m. April 11 at Century Park 12 on East Bayshore Road of a possible pending gang fight. Two suspects wearing red ran back into the theater while two others ran toward the freeway on the south entrance.

South City

Sexual assault: A sexual assault occurred at 1:53 p.m. April 15 at Genentech on Grandview Drive. The victim had suspect information.
