Well look here, the Paula Deen museum is reportedly in the works in Georgia. Anyone who creates “The Ladies Brunch Burger,” consisting of a bacon cheeseburger between two glazed donuts, deserves to be championed for posterity.
City officials in her hometown of Albany are working to transform her childhood home into what Deen hopes will be a “symbol of hope” to all who enter, according to Gawker.
“I think you can say that I’m living proof that the American Dream exists,” she told the Albany Herald. She says she still has her parents’ furniture too, so it will look real authentic. Throw in batter-dipped, deep-fried sticks of butter in the gift shop and we’re there.
