One person was killed and two injured in three separate shootings in San Francisco during the holiday weekend, police said.
Acer Roberts, 37, of San Francisco, was fatally shot around 8:20 p.m. Friday in the Visitacion Valley neighborhood, police said. The shooting occurred in the area of the Sunnydale housing projects, cops said.
There are no suspect descriptions or a motive for the killing, police said.
Early Sunday morning, two bullets struck a 24-year-old woman’s right leg in the Western Addition, and on Saturday afternoon, a 27-year-old man was shot once in the right leg in the Bayview district, cops said.
There have been no arrests in either incident.
The gunplay in the Western Addition occurred at Eddy and Divisadero streets, where the woman was shot in an area parking lot, police said. The suspected shooter, a black man in his 20s, fled the scene through the projects, police said.
“The victim refused to tell the units on scene what happened,” cops said, adding that no witnesses have come forward.
The Bayview shooting, which occurred around 1:17 p.m. Saturday at Third Street and McKinnon Avenue, involved an argument between people in two vehicles, police said. The gunshots came from either a blue Hyundai or a black Jeep Cherokee, they said. Police described the suspects only as two black men in their 20s.
