One arrested in stabbing, robbery of man in Bayview residence

A man was injured in a stabbing inside his own Bayview residence early Wednesday morning, police Officer Albie Esparza said.

Two suspects, a man and a woman, reportedly entered an open door of the 38-year-old victim's house in the 1500 block of Revere Street about 6 a.m. and demanded his money, Esparza said.

The suspects then assaulted the victim, stabbing him several times with an unknown sharp weapon, causing what was originally believed to be serious injuries. As of Thursday afternoon, his condition was deemed stable, Esparza said.

The suspects made off with the victim's cellphone and wallet.

One of the two suspects was arrested, Esparza said. Marcus Harrison, 35, of San Francisco was booked on charges of possession of stolen property, robbery and assault with a deadly weapon.
