Noisy neighbor just won’t turn TV down, San Francisco cops say

An agitating San Francisco woman who habitually angers neighbors by blasting her television’s volume in the wee hours was cited for disturbing the peace early Friday.

At around 1:45 a.m., police responding to a noise complaint call went to the suspect’s home in the 600 block of Alemany Boulevard. The officers who approached the residence reported hearing “a very loud television.”

At first, cops got no response when knocking on the door. Finally a woman answered the door and became “very angry” that the officers had disturbed her, police said.

Apparently, her neighbor said she always blasts the TV volume. The neighbor signed a citizen’s arrest, which led to a police citation.
