Recently joining Art.com as chief merchandising officer, Ross joins the world’s leading online specialty provider of wall art with a vast background in product design development and marketing after a working stint at Gap. She has also worked with leading consumer brands Calvin Klein, Coach and Liz Claiborne.
What was your motivation to make the move to Art.com? I think that this position really offers the best match to my skills and it’s the right size company to make use of all I have to offer. And I think most importantly, the type of product it sells, which is art, has been an inspiration throughout my life. Our entire lives are works of art.
Where do you draw your inspiration? It’s actually nature. I think nature is the most creative person on the planet. Watching all that it creates really fascinates me.
How will your passion for art impact your position at Art.com? The company’s mission is really in line with my personal passion. I have never been with a company that has this idea that art is accessible to everyone.
