  • Screen grab of Dr. Conrad Murray listening as Judge Michael Pastor sentences him to four years in county jail on November 29, 2011 for his involuntary manslaughter conviction of pop star Michael Jackson.
The delusions of Michael Jackson’s doctor, Conrad Murray, are so great, he thinks the verdict vindicating AEG Live in the superstar’s death is also a vindication of him.

Katherine Jackson lost her billion-dollar wrongful death suit against the entertainment giant, which alleged that the company knew Murray was dosing his clients with the surgery-strength anesthetic propofol. According to the New York Daily News, the jury found and cleared AEG of knowledge or wrongdoing.

From jail, Murray told the “Today” show that the verdict made him cry, because “for once the world was allowed to hear some of the facts that pertained to this matter.”

He’s right in a way. We did hear the extent of Jackson’s addictions. But is that an excuse to pump someone full of anesthesia and leave the room?
