A 28-year-old woman using her tablet on a Muni bus during the Wednesday morning commute was pushed by a teenager who robbed of the device, police said, but the alleged thug was caught after a foot chase with an officer.

The robbery reportedly occurred on the 44 O’Shaughnessy line in the area of Seventh and Clarendon avenues at about 7:15 a.m.

An officer responded before the suspect, a 17-year-old boy, could get away, police said. The tablet was recovered. The teenager is not being identified because he is a minor.

The woman was not injured, police said.
