A Muni driver’s attempt to rescue a damsel in distress failed when the victim declined to cooperate with cops Tuesday night, police said.
The bus driver pulled up to Geary Boulevard and Presidio Avenue around 11:20 p.m. and saw the man standing over the 26-year-old woman.
The thug, described as a 27-year-old man, allegedly beat the woman and drove off in her car. He fled when he saw the Muni driver, police said.
Cops arrived shortly after, but the victim “refused to provide additional suspect or vehicle information,” police said.
She complained of pain to the back of her head but refused medical attention.
