Chicago Mayor Richard M. Daley showed up along with President Obama to help Alexi Giannoulias’ Senate campaign yesterday. The mayor “repeatedly” misstated the candidate’s first name.

Don’t look now, but Roland Burris, D-Ill., wants to be on the ballot for the lame duck session.

Sen. Michael Bennet, D-Colo., formerly superintendent of Denver schools, put them in an awkward position with exotic financial arrangements that involved large fees for Wall Street firms, The New York Times reports.
