Missing girl may have run off with 30-year-old man

The parents of a missing 14-year-old San Francisco girl who was last seen wearing pajamas fear their daughter may have run off with a man in his 30s who she met on MySpace, police said.

The girl, Tiffany Alvarez, has been in contact with the man, possibly named “Gino,” for the past three to four months, cops said. He described himself on the social networking website as 6-feet tall with dark hair, dark eyes, a big nose and with a light complexion, they said.

He may be driving a newer model silver Toyota Tundra pickup truck, police said.

Alvarez is white, 5-feet, 10-inches tall, 180-pounds, with green eyes and brown hair, police said.

“The parents feel that Tiffany and ‘Gino’ may be going to Houston,” police said.

Cops encourage those that have located Tiffany to contact SFPD’s Missing Persons at (415) 558-5508 or after hours at (415) 553-1071.
