J.T. Sulton scored 14 points and grabbed eight rebounds and Middle Tennessee beat Florida Atlantic 67-54 on Saturday night.
The Blue Raiders have won nine straight since their Dec. 7 loss to UAB.
Florida Atlantic (6-12, 2-3 Sun Belt Conference) trailed 38-31 after two Jordan McCoy free throws. But Middle Tennessee used a 13-1 run to jump ahead 51-32 with 9:24 left to play.
Middle Tennessee (17-2, 6-0) maintained at least a 13-point lead from that point forward.
Marcos Knight had 12 points on 6 of 8 shooting and LaRon Dendy added 11 for Middle Tennessee as the Blue Raiders shot 52.9 percent (27 of 51) from the field.
Shavar Richardson and Greg Gantt scored 10 apiece for Florida Atlantic but the Owls shot 31.1 percent (14 of 45) from the field and committed 16 turnovers.
The Owls have lost five of their last seven games.
