Midday heist downtown targets grocery deliveryman

Famished thieves reportedly robbed a grocery deliveryman in downtown San Francisco on Monday afternoon.

At about 2:45 p.m. police said, one of two suspects approached the 51-year-old victim from behind in the 200 block of Kearny Street, stuck a knife on his back and demanded his property.

The thugs then pilfered groceries from his truck and fled in an unknown direction. The deliveryman was not injured, police said.
