Michael Douglas makes plea to visit son Cameron

Michael Douglas continues to make impassioned pleas for his son’s treatment in prison, and this time he’s hoping other stars will help him make his case.

Cameron Douglas, sent to prison on narcotics charges, was busted for drugs inside. That got him sent to solitary confinement, where he has remained for more than two years — indeed “cruel and unusual” punishment, especially for a non-violent offender.

Michael wrote up a petition, asking to at least visit his son, and sent it to a frankly odd assortment of so-called “A-listers” (more like D-listers) to spread the word. They include Bo Derek, Bianca Jagger, Yoko Ono and Donna Karan, to name a few.

According to the New York Post, the petition, created to be sent to Attorney General Eric Holder, was posted at Change.org; however, the link appears to have been removed.
