Metal pipe bashing in Mission district robbery

A 30-year-old man was bashed in the head with a metal pipe and robbed of his cash and bracelet in the Mission district early Monday, police said.

The man suffered nonlife-threatening injuries during the vicious attack in the 1800 block of Mission Street around 3:40 a.m.

One of two goons tore the bracelet off the victim’s arm and then hit him repeatedly in the head with a metal pipe, police said. The goons then fled.

No arrests have been made.
