Former "Melrose Place" co-stars Heather Locklear and Jack Wagner insist they’re just old friends. Yet they were cuddling at an April 24 charity golf tournament, reports People. A source told the magazine, "They were playful and very much together." A friend of Jack counters, "There’s definitely no change in their relationship." Stay tuned.
Ex-Spice Girl Melanie Brown insists Eddie Murphy is the father of her baby daughter — and she’s taking him to court to prove it.
Mel B explained to People at a recent event that putative papa Eddie’s uncooperative attitude has forced her hand: "He’s not doing a DNA test and he’s not signing the birth certificate. So it’s going to have to go to court so he can be forced to do [a paternity test], which is strange since he was the one asking for it."
Ironic indeed: Eddie notoriously declared in a TV interview shortly after dumping pregnant Mel, "I don’t know whose child that is until it comes out and has a blood test."
"I just think no woman should have to go through that and no baby should have to go through that," Mel declares. "Be responsible. What else can you say?"
Nothing, really. Eddie, step up and get tested already!
Did Angelina Jolie brazenly give a lap dance to a former fling in public?
According to Us, at a VIP after-party for her film "A Place in Time" during the Tribeca Film festival, the Oscar winner got up close and personal with French actor Olivier Martinez. The international ladies’ man has been linked with everyone from Kylie Minogue to Penelope Cruz — as well as Angelina herself, during the shoot of their 2004 film "Taking Lives."
And the two looked pretty intimate as Angie dirty-danced for Olivier, an onlooker told the magazine: "She turned to him on the banquette and was shaking it in front of him. She was giving him a lap dance. She was looking over her shoulder, tossing a glance his way."
"It was very, very flirty," another eyewitness told Us, but quickly qualifies: "When she is with someone she knows, she might appear to be flirtatious, but it’s just affection."
Still, Brad might want to spring for a babysitter next time — just to be on the safe side.
Is Usher’s fiancée coming between him and his mother? The New York Daily News reports that the R&B heartthrob is considering booting mom Jonetta Patton as his manager — at the behest of his betrothed, Tameka Foster. "They definitely don’t get along," one source told the paper.
Ironically, the beef reportedly originated with Jonetta urging Usher to fire Tameka, then his stylist. Despite Tameka lashing back at his mom on the radio, the singer went on to get engaged toher.
"Tameka has a hold over him," another source tells the Daily News. "Nobody can figure it out. Some people think he may make Tameka his manager."
Usher’s rep says he’s unaware of a pending management shake-up.
"Naturally thin" Keira Knightley is horrified that she is seen as a role model for anorexics — she has even come under fire from the mother of a teenage girl who died of an eating disorder.
"When all that blew up, I felt terrible," the "Pirates of the Caribbean" actress laments to Elle magazine. "It appeared as if I were promoting something when I absolutely was not."
Keira explains that at the time, grueling "Pirates" shoots in heavy costumes and hot weather had left her slim frame even skinnier: "I am thin because that’s what I am, and I was thinner at that point because of the work I do. Nothing else."
The pressure of celebrity has even soured Keira on her profession. "You know, acting was the only thing I ever wanted to do. But, to be honest, I can see myself in five years or whatever just giving the whole thing up. … I can see things getting to the point where I just can’t do this anymore."
We feel for you, Keira, we really do. It must be just awful to be so thin and so famous.

"I had to put on about 20 pounds, which for me was really hard because I’m a really skinny dude. I had to dye my hair blond, and the suit took an hour to put on, and the makeup took four hours to put on every day. The fangs were painful, and then they would string you up in these wires; you would get a nuclear wedgie."
