Man threatens employee with screwdriver, makes off with dental products

This crook at least understands the importance of dental hygiene.

A man robbed a downtown San Francisco business of dental products at screwdriver-point early Tuesday morning, police said.

The suspect, a man aged 25 to 35, entered the business in the 100 block of Market Street about 6:37 a.m. and began placing a large quantity of dental products into a bag, police said.

A 32-year-old male employee confronted the suspect and the suspect pulled out a screwdriver and threatened him with it.

The suspect then fled the scene with the dental products. No arrest has been made.
