A man was stabbed in the ear with a syringe and his beer was stolen during a vicious brawl with another man in the Tenderloin Monday afternoon, police said.

Police responded to Eddy and Jones streets at about 1 p.m. and found a 43-year-old man with a puncture wound to his ear. The injury was minor and the victim refused medical attention, police said.
