Man stabbed in Tenderloin robbery

A man was stabbed after he was robbed of his cash in the Tenderloin on Wednesday, police said.

The 21-year-old victim was walking down the street with money in his hands in the vicinity of Golden Gate Avenue and Jones Street about 3 p.m. when a man in his 30s grabbed the cash out of his hands and stabbed him in the stomach.

The suspect fled in an unknown direction, police said, and no arrest has been made.

The victim was taken to the hospital for his injuries, which police said were not life threatening.
