A man who was stabbed multiple times in San Mateo early Saturday morning is expected to survive, police said Tuesday.
Officers responded to the first block of South Humboldt Street at about 4:30 a.m. and found the man suffering from stab wounds to various parts of his body, San Mateo police Sgt. Bob Szelenyi said.
The man was transported to Stanford Hospital where he is in stable condition Tuesday, Szelenyi said.
Witnesses are not cooperating with police, and a suspect has not been identified nor a motive established, Szelenyi said.
