Man stabbed in chest while sleeping in the Tenderloin 

A man was stabbed while sleeping in the Tenderloin on Thursday, police said.

The 60-year-old victim was sleeping in the 400 block of Turk Street around 4 a.m. when he woke up and realized he’d been stabbed in the chest, police said. He was suffered wounds to his stomach and arm.

He was transported to the hospital for his injuries, which were not life threatening, police said.

There is no further information at this time.
