Man stabbed in back at SoMa bus stop

A man survived a stabbing at a South of Market bus stop Thursday night, police said.

The victim went on his own to St. Luke’s Hospital after the assault at Sixth and Folsom streets around 9:30 p.m.

The man was uncooperative with cops, police said. He claimed he was at the bus stop when he was struck over the head with an unknown object. Then he discovered he’d been stabbed once in the back.

The victim offered no description of the suspects, police said.
