A man was stabbed by a woman in the Fisherman's Wharf area on Tuesday after the woman and her friend threw a milkshake at a customer, police said.

The two female suspects were in a coffee shop in the 2800 block of Jones Street about 8:40 p.m. when they threw their foamy milk drink at the customer. The 44-year-old victim escorted the two women outside when one of them pulled out a knife and stabbed him in the arm and back.

The frothy femme fatales fled on foot and as of Wednesday have not been arrested, police said. The victim's wounds were not considered life threatening but he was taken to a hospital for treatment.

Police are asking anyone who may have witnessed the crime to contact the anonymous tip line at (415) 575-4444 or send a tip by text message to TIP411 with “SFPD” in the message.
