Man seriously injured in Tenderloin beating over car break-in 

A man was seriously injured after an argument about a car break-in turned physical in the Tenderloin on Sunday, police said.

The 23-year-old victim was in a verbal altercation with four men in their late 20s near Elm and Polk streets around 2 a.m. The argument was about the victim’s car being broken into, police said.
The four goons proceeded to beat on the victim until he lost consciousness, police said. He was taken to the hospital for injuries that were considered life threatening.

As of Monday his condition remains unknown. No arrests have been made.
