A man was robbed at gunpoint while he was taking photos of Sutro Tower early Saturday morning, police said Monday.

The 25-year-old victim was in the unit block of La Avenzada Street near Sutro Tower taking pictures about 4:30 a.m. when he was approached by two men, one of which had a gun.

The man with the gun told the victim not to move and give them everything he's got, police said. The victim emptied his pockets and turned his property over to the crooks.

The second suspect picked up the victim's camera and equipment and the crooks walked off.

The suspects were described as one man in his 30s and the other in his 20s, police said.

The victim lost his wallet and cash, smartphone, camera and other equipment.

No arrests have been made.
