Man robbed at gunpoint in the Tenderloin

A man was robbed at gunpoint in the Tenderloin on Tuesday, police said.

The 22-year-old victim was walking in the 200 block of Turk Street about 11:20 p.m. when an armed man approached and demanded the victim's property, police said.

The victim handed the suspect his wallet and cellphone. The suspect fled on foot.

He was described as a man aged 25 to 30, 6-feet tall with a medium build, last seen wearing a black beanie cap, black clothing and black and gray shoes.

No arrest has been made.
