Man robbed at gunpoint in San Bruno storage yard

A man was robbed at gunpoint in a San Bruno storage yard on Tuesday, police said.

The victim told police that he was in the yard in the 800 block of 7th Avenue about 9:15 p.m. when a man approached brandishing a handgun and demanded the victim's cash.

The suspect fled the scene south through the storage yard, police said. After a thorough search, police were unable to find the suspect, even with the aid of a police dog.

The suspect was described as being about 25 years old, 5-foot-7, 170 pounds and was wearing a brown coat and blue jeans.
