Man knocked out in Outer Mission robbery 

A man was knocked out and robbed in the Outer Mission on Tuesday night, police said.

The male victim was walking down Foote Avenue near Mission Street about 11:10 p.m. when he was accosted by two men who demanded his property, police said.

The victim was then struck by an unknown object and rendered unconscious, police said. Upon regaining consciousness, a passerby helped him and he discovered his wallet was missing.

He was hospitalized for his injuries, which were not life threatening. No arrests have been made.
