Man injured in Mission district stabbing 

A man was assaulted and stabbed in the Mission district Tuesday, police said.

The 20-year-old victim was walking in the area of 14th and Minna streets about 6:50 p.m. when three men in a white mini van drove by, police said.

The men got out of the van and attacked the victim, police said. One of the men stabbed the victim several times before the three of them fled in the van.

The victim was taken to the hospital for his injuries, which were reportedly not life threatening. No arrests have been made.
