A man was injured in a shooting in Hunters Point on Saturday, police Sgt. Danielle Newman said.
The 19-year-old victim was in a moving vehicle with a friend near Evans Avenue and Middlepoint Road about 7:30 p.m. when another vehicle drove alongside them and fired numerous gunshots, Newman said. The victim reportedly sustained wounds to his head and hand.
