One person was found dead outside of a home following a shooting in San Francisco's Sunnydale neighborhood Wednesday evening.
San Francisco Police Department responded to the 100 block of Brookdale Avenue around 6 p.m. following shot spotter activation nearby, police Sgt. Michael Andraychak said.
When officers arrived on scene they found a 23-year-old male in the rear of a home on the street. He was pronounced dead at the scene from an apparent gunshot wound, according to Andraychak.
During the investigation, officers were then notified a second victim had walked into San Francisco General Hospital for medical help. A description of the man was not available, but he is also being treated as a victim of a shooting, Andraychak said.
The relationship between the two men is unknown. There is no suspect description and it is not known if the shooting is gang related.
