Man critically injured in Tenderloin stabbing

A man was critically injured in a stabbing in the Tenderloin on Tuesday morning, police Officer Gordon Shyy said.

The 38-year-old victim was reportedly involved in an argument with five other men in the 300 block of Turk Street about 4:20 a.m. when they started throwing things at each other, Shyy said, then one of the five men stabbed the victim multiple times in the torso and arm.

The suspects fled the scene and there have been no arrests.

The victim was hospitalized and is said to be in critical condition.
