Man critically injured in Cow Hollow stabbing 

A man was critically injured in a stabbing in San Francisco' Cow Hollow neighborhood early Sunday morning, police said.

The 20-year-old victim was stabbed by outside a bar in the 3000 block of Buchanan Street about 1:06 a.m., police said. The incident reportedly was the result of a physical altercation between the victim and the suspect that escalated when the suspect stabbed the victim.

The suspect fled the scene and is still at large, police said. He is described as a white man, between 20 and 30 years old, about 6 feet tall and weighing about 200 pounds.

The victim remains hospitalized with critical injuries.
