A man who just said no to a couple of weed dealers was then assaulted by them near Buena Vista Park on Friday, police said.

The 25-year-old victim was approached by the two pushy weed dealers at Haight Street and Buena Vista Avenue West about 11 p.m., police said.

They offered to sell weed to the victim to which he replied he did not like marijuana. This offended the pushers so they proceeded to punch and kick the victim several times before fleeing on foot in an unknown direction, police said.

The victim sustained several lacerations to his face and was taken to a nearby hospital, police said. His injuries were not life threatening.

No arrests have been made. The suspects were described by police as white men of unknown age.
