Man arrested in bank robbery near Stonestown Galleria 

A 32-year-old San Francisco man had a short-lived getaway after robbing a bank near the Stonestown Galleria Monday, police said.

The man walked into the bank in the 200 block of Winston Drive at about 11:40 a.m. and demanded money from a 20-year-old female teller.

He displayed no weapon, and escaped with an undisclosed amount of cash, but was arrested a short time later, according to police.

The suspect’s name was not released.
