Man arrested for DUI, woman robbed of purse among SF crimes 

A man makes the mistake of counting his money in the dark of night on San Francisco’s streets, just one of the crime tales of Wednesday night.

Sloat and Forestview
7:53 p.m., Wednesday

A 24-year-old man was arrested for DUI after crashing into a car, which then crashed into two parked cars. Three people other than the suspect were injured but survived.

Delano and Shawnee
9:45 p.m., Wednesday

A 41-year-old woman was walking when a crook ripped her purse from her hands, knocking her to the ground. Her purse contained her wallet and cash.

Palou and Third
10:40 p.m., Wednesday

A 21-year-old man made the mistake of counting his money out in public. Three thugs punched him, swiped the money and fled.

Geary and Laguna
12:50 a.m., Thursday

Three goons punched a 25-year-old man multiple times, causing a laceration to his eye, and robbing him of his backpack, laptop and iPod.
