Man ambushed by four goons in Mission district robbery

A man was ambushed by four goons and robbed in the Mission district Thursday morning, police said.

The 31-year-old victim was in the 2900 block of 20th Street around 12:25 a.m. when one of four suspects “jumped out” at him and he took off running, police said.

While making his escape the victim fell and the four goons surrounded him, one of whom had a knife, police said. The knife-wielding thug demanded the victim turn over his goods and he complied.

The goons fled in an unknown direction with the victim’s cellphone and cash, police said.

No arrests have been made.
