Lorde — fresh from sold-out Bay Area performances in which she touted teen angst — suffers from acne.
The 17-year-old New Zealand singer, who appeared in Oakland last week, isn’t ashamed of it, and even went as far as posting a photo of herself with blemishes online, Life & Style reports.
In a cool, thoroughly heartening, girl-power move, the “Royals” singer told fans: No one is perfect, and it’s not a big deal.
After her show in Chile on Sunday, she posted two photos of herself: One which had been touched up, and another which showed red and scarred cheeks.
The comment accompanying the images on her Twitter account: “i find this curious – two photos from today, one edited so my skin is perfect and one real. remember flaws are ok :-).”
